Alix is an aspiring Production Designer currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has experience in set design, construction, technical drawing, and costume design through her time working on short films both as a Production Designer and Costume Designer while studying at Screen Academy Scotland and San Diego State University.

Graduating May 2021 with a BA (Hons) in Film from Screen Academy Scotland (Edinburgh Napier), she has also gained industry experience working as a runner on projects such as BBC Debate Night and is keen to continue developing her work within film and television.

Straw in the Wind (2021)
Straw in the Wind is a short film about a mother’s strained relationship with her son and community as she fights to prove her husband’s innocence despite his murder conviction.

Smiling Buddha (2020)
Made at San Diego State University, this short film follows a young woman and her relationship with her aging grandmother who is suffering from dementia.

This short film deals with a young woman's experience with post traumatic stress disorder after her time as a soldier whereby she was unable to save her partner who was fatally shot.
